Why do we want to take part in the project? Saint-Petersburg is one of the
most beautiful cities in the world. It is famous its magnificent architectural
buildings. We like our city very much and we are proud to live in it. We
tell you with great pleasure about our city to the students from German.
We want to know more about Hamburg too. Moreover, its interesting to take
part in this project, because we can meet with people, who live in another
country.
We can know about their life styles and about their culture and traditions.
Of course, one of the most important reason why we are taking part in this
project, it is a good chance to get .?. . At school we study english language.
We can use our knowledges by contact with students from german school. It'll
be very interesting! We’re looking forward to meeting with our guests! They
can see our magnificent city. But Saint-Petersburg wasn’t always so beautiful.
Saint-Petersburg was founded at the beginning of 18 centurry and during
this time our city, irrepressibly and impetuously sprung up on the banks
of the Neva and became the symbol of a new era in the history of the Russia
state turn into majestic center. It was better and better with every kingdoms.
Catherine II brought in our city special deposit for comfort and construction
of town. During the reign of Catherine the Great our city became the center
of education and culture. |
