You are greeted by the secondary school № 383, Saint Petersburg. Our school is located in the south-west part of the city, in the picturesque Krasnoselski district. Some remoteness from center is ucompensated by closeness with such pearls, as the Konstantinovskiy palace in Strelnia, as Petergof with the known worldwide fountains. In 2006 our school сelebrated its sixty years. For this time about 50 000 persons became graduating students of our school. And now at our school about 1000 students are taught from 1 till 11 grade. 90 teachers work at school. Interests of students are priorities at the choice of directions of activity of school. One of such directions is civil-patriotic. There is a museum «History of Ligovo», where the excursions are conducted by students. School actively co-operates with Council of veterans. The students take care of after the grave of the children lost during the second world war. Newspaper «Bell» is printed at school. The art direction is not left by attention. This is confirmed by victories of children in the city and district competitions «Russia is my motherland », photographic competition "One day from the life of school», competition of portraits «My favourite mom», «How to lead the way». For the last 3 years the students of our school took in district prize seats on different sport competitions: Autumn cross-country race (1-st), track-and-field (3-rd), gymnastics (3-rd), volleyball (2-nd), table tennis (1-st). Therefore in district the school takes 2-nd seat. There is annual traditional volleyball match between students and teachers of our school. The students and teachers of our school have experience of participation in the international projects which were related with different sides of our life: with theater, with the mass mediums, with the art, with the shooting of film about the life and problems of teenagers. These progects are a good practice of cultural and social intercourse for students. Therefore we want to put right communications with other schools. Thus ,we can share by experience of cooperation which we have together with German school . Supposed language of intercourse is English. School is ready to adopt delegations of children and teachers. We are ready to place them in families, to organize leisure and cultural program.
